Checkoway has over thirty years of healthcare insurance experience, specializing
in the brokerage placement of disability and long term care insurance
coverage. He authored Disability Income, A How To Guide,
published by R & R Newkirk; and Disability Income Insurance,
a text published by Kaplan Publishing. He has self-published a disability resource manual, Getting Paid identifying
the most effective techniques for filing long term disability claims and
appeals. Allan has also recently published ElderCare
Survival Kit; Long Term Care Insurance
Marketing Presentations.

Financial Planning and numerous other meetings of professional, national
associations.
