"I must get at least a dozen requests per day on questions about fibromyalgia disability. This is a very timely
and much needed text!!"
Sharon S., RN

"Wow! This guide addresses everything from purchasing disability insurance to applying, appealing and receiving benefits. It even includes information on exercise, travel, housing and reasonable accommodations."
Wayne Connell, Founder and President of The Invisible Disabilities Advocate

"Allan Checkoway has shown a bright light on a very important facet of our business. Every insurance advisor needs
to be completely familiar with this book. Insurance advisors haven't done the complete job until they help a client
through the claim process. The complexity of disability claims create a potential minefield for the insured at a time
in their lives when they are most vulnerable. Every insurance advisor, as well as the consumers, will be well served
by reading Allan's newest creation. It is clear, concise and incredibly helpful."
Matt Tassey, Past President
Association of Health Insurance Advisors
"As a human Resources professional with over 29 years of experience, Allan Checkoway has made this info a critical
"must know" for middle aged workers, who need to quickly familiarize themselves. Allan has delivered a valuable
service to all of us who are in this fastest growing population segment. The Guide is both thorough and informative."
Paul L. Chin
Chief of Opportunity and Diversity
Mass. Bay Commuter Railroad Company
"I am very excited about your new e-book 'Consumer's Disability Guide.
You have created something critical for those in the workforce including those with Cystic Fibrosis."
Carroll Jenkins, Executive Director
Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc.
"I think your concepts on the private letter ruling are excellent and it may well be that a patient who is experiencing
some preliminary symptoms and signs of what has been a disease prevalent in his or her family, should arrange to have the
premiums on any employer sponsored disability covereage taxable so that if total disability does result and benefits are
paid, they will be tax free.
In your table of contents you refer to the LTD claim as being a "nightmare." In my representing of CFIDS patients since
1986, it was worse.
Congratulations again for such an excellent, concise and informative book."
