From: Special Report - The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR affecting the likelihood of a prospect purchasing Long Term Care Insurance

AN LTC "EVENT"
What is the most important factor influencing a prospects attitude towards Long Term Care Insurance? There are two significant issues in our prospects lives that impact their attitudes about long term care and our bottom line results. One issue either occurred or not, there's nothing we can do about it. The other issue is something we have to change before we can motivate our prospect to purchase LTC Insurance.

From: Elder Care Survival SCRIPT

We already know 47 percent of those over age 85 have Alzheimer's (or other forms of dementia) and 70+ percent are cared for at home by family members. They report the patient can't be left alone 24/7.

LONG TERM CARE, A SIGNIFICANT FEMALE ISSUE

Women "take it on the chin" when it comes to caregiving. 75 percent of those caring for an aged parent are women and over 50 percent are employed outside the home & raising children!

Keep in mind that a married couple reaching age 65 today can expect one spouse to reach age 90. It's usually the lady of the house.

From: Elder Care Survival SCRIPT - The four (4) MAJOR events occurring simultaneously impacting the cast and our ability to purchase Long Term Care Insurance.

The bottom line is that there are four (4) events occurring at the same time. It is expected that rates will increase every year (age 50 - 60) by at least 6% (and more than doubling from age 50 - 65!). At the very same time, the cost of care is increasing by at least 5% yearly. Hence, your costs will increase at least 11+% annually from now on. The loss of a good health discount and your likelihood of being uninsurable increase daily. We use the hour glass to represent the passing of time as each year passes.
